Growing up on his Grandpa Kokojan’s farm in Waukomis, Oklahoma, was the inspiration for Kyle’s first bluegrass gospel CD. Tulsa World raves "Wiley Post soars at OK Mozart" - 06/17/11
And soar it did. Composed by Edmond native, Callen Clarke, the June 15th musical tribute to Wiley Post at OK Mozart brought the audience to their feet for a long standing ovation. Kyle Dillingham's performance featured in this Oklahoma-flavored world premier event was moving and "Dillingham was able to cut loose with some truly fiery fiddling", as quoted by Tulsa World's Arts Critic, James D. Kyle receives Governor's Arts Award and standing ovation! - 11/30/09
The State Capitol rotunda was a packed house for the 2009 Annual Governor's Arts Awards and Kyle's performance during the ceremony received an exhuberant standing ovation. The main reason he was there was not just to showcase his incredible talents, but to receive the Special Recognition award for his life's work as a violinist, vocalisth, ambassador for universities in Oklahoma as well as overseas and for his gift connection with people throughout the world.
