The deadCENTER Film Festival, designed to inspire growth in the local film industry and energize visiting film professionals, will be premiering the film, "Sweethearts of the Prison Rodeo", June 10th as part of their extensive schedule of screenings by local talent.
 

The song "Swing" by Horseshoe Road will be featured in this compelling documentary about the country's only Behind the Walls Rodeo.
 

Since 1940, McAlester, Oklahoma has hosted the Oklahoma State Prison Rodeo, and in 2006 women inmates were allowed for the first time to compete against the male inmates. This film follows these cowgirls on their way to the rodeo.
